Many countries have Freedom of Information Act or equivalent legislation. If you live in a country that does then it is possible that by making such a request to the courts a lot of detailed information on traffickers not published elsewhere can be obtained. We have a request to the Indian Courts through a Right to Information on all cases relating to “immoral trafficking” and will keep you updated on the success or otherwise of this request. Checks with legal databases are also potentially a great source and we are currently reviewing some 800 court documents from India obtained through these systems. If you can start such research in your country please post in the forums so everyone knows what is being done.

FreedomNow has been many years in the making and we trust you like the beta version. We’ve a ton of ideas on what else needs to be included, how the data could be better configured and other categories of information that could be captured. However, what we would really like to know is what our users want to see so we can make this a really significant tool in the fight against Human Trafficking.
Please let us know any of your ideas and we promise to continue to publish new content every day and upgrade the site as often as possible.
